4 panel drug test kit.
This product is an inexpensive and reliable 4-panel drug test. It is a urine test for detecting illegal or prescription drugs in human urine and determining substance abuse for Cocaine, Opiates, Methamphetamine, and Marijuana. Parents wanting to know if their loved ones are abusing drugs can use this product with confidence, knowing that the result will give them a clear indication of abuse or not.
The EliteScreen four-panel urine test is a rapid, qualitative immunoassay drug test. It’s constructed of plastic encasing four absorbant fingers designed to absorb urine into the test area of the assay. Results are near-instant, telling you if an individual is positive or negative. The device screens for metabolites of each drug at or above cut-off levels specified by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).

The 4 panel drug test kit consists of four individual strips that detect four different abused substances. It is classed as a one-step assay with a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay based on the principle of competition for limited antibody binding sites between the drug metabolite in the urine sample and a drug-protein conjugate immobilized on a porous membrane support.
Process and explanation of the 4 panel drug test kit:
In simple terms, during testing, urine migrates to the test area of the membrane by capillary action, mobilizing the chemical reaction. It flows along each membrane of four test strips until it reaches a point where it reacts with a chemical on the strip. This chemical is designed to react with a specific drug; if no reaction occurs, then a colored line appears; if a reaction is detected, then the line does not form, indicating a detected substance.
Procedure for use:
For the test to complete correctly, the control line (C) must be visible. This serves as internal quality control for the analysis. Therefore, it should always appear as a colored band regardless of the presence of the drug.
Positive: If the drug concentration is at or above the cut-off limit, no colored line will form. (Presumptive positive)
Invalid result: The built-in control feature, the (C) line, indicates an adequate sample volume was collected and that the reagents migrated properly. If a (C) line band does not form, the result is invalid. Discard the device and start the testing process with a new test kit.
Negative result: In the absence of a drug or if the concentration is below the cut-off in the sample tested, a colored band appears; apparent result (T).
Included in each box is a product insert showing cut-off levels and the sensitivity of the product. You can also download a copy by clicking the links below.
